Bharat Thakur is an internationally renowned spiritual master.

Bharat Thakur has conducted numerous meditation workshops, yoga training sessions for groups and individuals, corporate yoga workshops all over the world. He is also the founder of Artistic Yoga which has opened yoga studios or yoga centres and conducts workshops, group classes and private classes in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Moscow and Dubai.

He was chosen by his master, Sukhdev Brahmachari at the age of four and taken to the Himalayas.
For 16 years, he experienced life under tne watchful eyes of his guru.

Under the guidance of his master, he studied yoga intensively - the various forms of yoga – Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Karma Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and the various other elements like Pranayama (breathing techniques), Asanas (yoga postures) and Dhyana (meditation).

Along with this, he learnt related areas such as Ayurveda, Tantra, and Mantra.
He also studied Sufism, Jainism, and Buddhism, and then returned from the Himalayas to step into normal education.

He finished his graduation and subsequently his post-graduation in Exercise Physiology and Yoga from the Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education, Gwalior.

He is the author of 7 books, Yoga For All, Yoga For Stress Relief, Yoga For Weight Loss, Yoga For Family, Yoga for Flat Abs, Yoga for BackAche Relief and a collection of poetry, “Truth: The Art of The Mystics”.

Adapting ancient yoga techniques and yoga postures to suit contemporary lifestyle requirements, Bharat Thakur founded Artistic Yoga. This form of yoga is an experimental yet extremely powerful system of Yoga that requires no beliefs. It has already improved and changed people’s lives in powerful, subtle and unexpected ways.
